Realize your dreams, goals and priorities in life. Walk towards it every day and say no to everything else.
What are your deepest, truest dreams? In all the selfless ways, what do you want most to do in your life? What sorts of good are you willing to share to the world? What kind of person do you want to become? If it were all up to you, what would make you happiest? Really, truly joyful deep inside? Remind yourself and move towards all of it every single day. Daydreaming, writing list after list of goals and action steps, sharing your goals and values to others, making an inspiration board, learning little by little. Small steps, slow pacing, it doesn’t matter. There’s no magical day when you will be “ready” to make it happen nor can you just miraculously become the person you so achingly want to become in a snap. Now is the time!
Everything else that won’t help you get to where you want to go, learn to let go of. There’s no time, love and energy to waste. Remember, it’s all about making wise, healthy choices. All the decisions you’re going to make, even the smallest of them all, will determine your success, whatever your definition for it may be.
From a book I’m reading now, Mary says: “…what I thought of at the time as my Search — became focused less on the question of what to do with my life, than on what do I want to do with my life. The realization that there was a huge different between those two questions opened up a whole new world to me.”
